We will be showing the 3 Lions Test Matches at the Club: 1st Test Sat 24th July, 5pm 2nd Test Sat 31st July, 5pm 3rd Test Sat 7th August, 5pm Tickets are £10 and include Meal and first Pint. Tickets can be purcahased from the website at https://sedgley-tigers.com/tickets/. It is likely to be busy, so please book early.

We will be showing the Euro 2021 Final, England v Italy, Live on all screens at the Club on Sunday, from 6pm. We will be offering Food to those who would like eat before the start, from 6pm-8pm. Please book the food with your Tables. Because of the demand, we are asking members to book a table of 6 in advance of the game, by emailing me (Steve Ward) on chairman@sprufc.co.uk. Priority will be given to those who have attended the previous rounds of the competition. To comply with COVID regs, we can only accomodate 72 people, seated, in each room, so it will be very much on a first come first served basis. It’s Coming Home!!

It is with great sadness that we have to report the passing of one of the older Members of the Club, Chris Makin. Our sympathies go out to his family and friends at this very sad time. Chris was a regular at the Club in the late ’70s and early ’80s, having come through the Colts. He had been suffering for some time from a Brain Tumour and sadly passed away after suffering a large stroke. The Funeral Mass will be on Thursday 8th July, 9:30am, at OLOG RC Church in Fairfax Road. Due to COVID restrictions this will be family only. The Burial will be at Heywood Cemetery at 11.15am. RIP Chris.

England’s Quarter Final Euro 2020 game against the Ukraine will be on Live on the big screens this Sat 3rd July 8pm KO. Booking a table is not required, but it is on a first come, first served basis.
