No sooner have we had the success of our first ever Music Festival (Whitefield Festival), then we are now preparing for our second Annual Beer Festival. Last year was great and we are expecting this year to be even better. The Festival runs from 13th – 15th July. Download Festival Poster here
Similar to last year, we have 40 Real Ales, Lagers and Ciders, along with BBQ Food and Bury Black Puddings. We also have a Gin and Prosecco stall giving you the oportunity to try different offerings. We have Music on the Friday Night and all day Saturday. For the kids, we will have a bouncy castle and slides on the Saturday.
This year we are improving the Friday night by organising a social mixed rounders tournament. This will be teams of 10, including at least 4 Ladies and 2 youngsters. Please try and get a team together as this will be great fun. Please contact myself or Matt Smith (matt@hhsmith.co.uk) to enter a team. Entry is free. We are also having a Ladies Rugby taster session on the Friday night, from 6:30pm (Inner Warrior Night). Anyone who wants to have a go should contact Lucy on lh@latimerlee.com or just turn up on the night.
On the Sunday we are hosting a 5km Tough Run into the Park. I have attached a Poster for this event as well. For the kids (U16s), there is a 2km version. Kids event is free to enter. Adults there is a £5 entrance fee.
Sponsor a barrel on the Beer Festival. £80 sponsorship gets you 2 Entrance Tickets (worth £10), 2 Meal Tickets and £30 of Beer Tokens.
Please promote the beer Festival to your friends and family. Last year was a great event, especially the Saturday. Lets try and make the whole weekend a great time and raise much needed funds for the club.
