It is with great regret that we announce the death of Charlie Austin who passed quietly away on Wednesday evening 5th September.
Together with Ray, Charlie was a key figure in the management of Sedgley’s first team during the nineties, a period when the foundations were built for the future playing success of the club, and his services to the club are greatly appreciated.
Charlie’s funeral was held last week and our thoughts go out to his family and friends at this time.
