It is with great sadness that we have to report the passing of one of the older Members of the Club, Chris Makin. Our sympathies go out to his family and friends at this very sad time.
Chris was a regular at the Club in the late ’70s and early ’80s, having come through the Colts. He had been suffering for some time from a Brain Tumour and sadly passed away after suffering a large stroke.
The Funeral Mass will be on Thursday 8th July, 9:30am, at OLOG RC Church in Fairfax Road. Due to COVID restrictions this will be family only.
The Burial will be at Heywood Cemetery at 11.15am.
