Darren ‘Daz’ Weatherall
It is with great sadness that we have to report that a club sporting legend, Daz Weatherall, lost his battle with cancer last week.
Daz played on lan Keers Colts team in 1982 and by this time was already playing 15* XV rugby at Sedge. He will be fondly remembered by all he played with during the 80s and 90s. After retiring from playing rugby, he helped out with coaching the lower teams at the club.
Our thoughts at this very sad time are with Maggie and the family.
The funeral will be held at Bleckley Crematorium, at 2pm, on Tuesday 17″ December. The family would like to welcome all to celebrate the life of Daz and have asked people attending to wear something pink in memory of Daz.
