We have all reminded of our past over the last few weeks of mourning and nostalgia. I thought it might be nice to show some of Sedgley Park Nostalgia.
This is a photo provided to me by Ernie Neely of the “A” XV (or more accurately the “A” XIV) from 1956/57 Season. It was provided to Ernie by Geoff Greenwood. For the older Members of the Club, you will recognise some of the names and maybe even remember some of the people and faces.

Geoff informs us “Billy Walton was from St John’s Ambulance and a regular attendee at most home games, he was the Verger/grave digger at St. Mary’s. I don’t recall Jeff Cliff playing but he did referee many home games for 2nd. & 3rd. teams at Park Lane and maybe at Thatch Leaf Lane?
