Sedgley Park RFC Youth Rugby Section -26th September
Girls Rugby Festival at Sedgley Park Rugby Club, Park Lane Whitefield was a resounding success with over 200 girls from Bury Schools taking part: Philips High, St Monicas, Unsworth Academy, Bury Church, Derby High, Elton High and Bury Grammar.
RFU Qualified Coaching staff, first aid staff and team managers from Sedgley Park Youth Section who organised and run the event along with volunteers from our youth teams e.g. Under 18 girls team and Under 16s youth team. Guests from the RFU inc Laure Perrin from England Ladies team also assisted on the day.
We have received congratulations from many of the Girls and Teaching staff who also enjoyed the day, despite the heavy down poor. Sedgley Park RFC would like to thank the Schools in Bury for their support. We hope to hold the event again in the near future.
