The u17 Junior Colts have recently won their league this season.
Although only drawing to Littleborough 7-7, they beat all teams both home and away. Victories against Widnes, Littleborough, Bury, Trentham, Kirby Lonsdale and Bowden amassed a total of 304 points, conceding only 115 with an overall difference of 189, making them the highest points scorers, conceding the lowest amount of points and the best points difference in their league this season – quite a series of achievements!
Earlier in the Cup rounds and before the Leagues were re-structured, they also beat Wirral, Ashton U-L and New Brighton. The team now moves on to a series of friendly matches and League Cup games to complete their season.
